Indulge your sweet tooth without guilt thanks to this Decadent Chocolate Avocado Mousse. Ripe avocados deliver creamy texture, while unsweetened cocoa imparts rich chocolate flavor. This vegan, gluten-free dessert can be whipped together in minutes and chills into a luxuriously smooth finale.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted

  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ¼ cup pure maple syrup (adjust to taste)

  • 2 tablespoons almond milk (more if needed)

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • Pinch of salt

  • Optional toppings: fresh berries, mint leaves, cacao nibs


Preparation Steps

  1. Blend the mousse.

    • In a blender or food processor, combine avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla, and salt. Blend until perfectly smooth, scraping down sides as needed. If too thick, add 1 Tbsp almond milk at a time until desired consistency.

  2. Chill.

    • Spoon mousse into serving glasses. Refrigerate at least 1 hour to firm up and deepen flavor.

  3. Serve.

    • Top with berries, mint, or cacao nibs before serving.
