Honey-Lime Grilled Pineapple with Cinnamon Yogurt

Years of summer entertaining taught me that grilled fruit needs only minimal seasoning to shine. These Honey-Lime Grilled Pineapple rings, paired with cinnamon yogurt, make a light, crowd-pleasing dessert.

Experience & Expertise:
I found that a quick 2-minute sear on each side caramelizes pineapple sugars without drying it out.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1 fresh pineapple, peeled, cored & sliced into rings

  • 2 tbsp honey

  • Zest & juice of 1 lime

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon

  • Pinch of salt

Steps

  1. Marinate pineapple (10 min): Whisk honey, lime juice, zest, and salt. Toss rings to coat.

  2. Heat grill: Medium-high.

  3. Grill (4–5 min): Place rings on grill, cook 2–3 min per side until charred.

  4. Make yogurt: Stir cinnamon into yogurt.

  5. Serve: Arrange pineapple on plate, add a dollop of cinnamon yogurt, and drizzle any remaining marinade.

Serve Suggestion: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent twist.
